Mountian Snow

Snow gently settles

On a green of the pine

The mountains are lonely

But a peace hard to define

Is up there. Waiting.

*

Trees echo the whispers

Of a timeless friend rustling by,

The trial is sharp and hard

But worth it to be under the open sky

*

The grey jagged mountains

Invite the sun

To a hiding place below

And all the day has done

Finds its home beneath the snow

*

Forgiveness.
