Are some hearts
Beyond repair broken?
To never let another in again,
To let the love
Fade into a cold hand,
And the friendship

to begin

Some hearts are broken beyond repair. They will never allow another tare. Never again will they hold love in their hand. In its place half hearted friendship will stand. -Joe’s Brother

Does it always have to be this way?
and why can’t love be free
enough to stay?
Brother, i am just
praying to be relieved of this jest,
and one day know
if this guarded friendship,
is set like a sinking ship,
that will find the sea bottom in eternal rest,
and i could move on

a few more hours
it will be dawn….
